The company Public Transport of Budapest decided to renovate some of the stations of metro line M3 between November 2017 and November 2018. Many photographers fetched their cameras in the few last months before constructions started to chronicle some of the art works and the atmosphere of M3 resonating the social era of the Eastern block. My attention however turned towards the interior feature one does not necessarily consider art material.
Taking the picture of and listing all the public chairs furnishing the stations and serving people day by day might enlighten the beauty they have for me. To see how much idea, planning and designing was needed to create them. And how much more fineness they represent than what they are credited for.
